Terms of Service
Last updated: July 19, 2026 | Version: 1.1
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the VeloLoad platform, operated by ASCEND GmbH. The service is exclusively directed at businesses (B2B) in accordance with § 14 BGB. Use by consumers is excluded.
2. Service, subscription, cancellation and refunds
VeloLoad is an LTL fleet-capacity platform with monthly paid subscriptions. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the public contract management page or the account dashboard; ordinary cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid billing period and access remains until then. Although VeloLoad is exclusively for businesses, ASCEND voluntarily grants a contractual 14-day withdrawal right from contract conclusion: a timely withdrawal ends access immediately and refunds the first payment in full without a pro-rata usage fee. Approved refunds and duplicate, incorrect or post-cancellation charges are refunded through the original payment method within 14 days.
3. Liability
As VeloLoad is currently in the beta and waitlist phase, use is at your own risk. ASCEND GmbH is only liable for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body, or health according to statutory provisions.
4. Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms is Düsseldorf.
5. Accessibility
We consistently strive to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA+ standard and provide a highly screen-reader friendly experience.
